Announcements
Hi there
As stated on this documentation, Paginated Reports are not available for integration in PowerApps Portals.
This is a critical business requirement on our side from many customers.Any idea when this feature will be available? Or workarounds to have this feature working ?
Thanks a lot in advance
Hi @AntoineB , I do not see any announced dates for paginated reports on the published roadmap.
I would recommend that you take a look at the new Release Planner to keep an eye on the feature, as the product groups frequently update the roadmap.
If you have not done so yet, I encourage you to visit the Power Pages Ideas (https://aka.ms/MPP_Ideas) and upvote an idea or create a new one to let the product groups know how important this is for you (and get some of your customers/colleagues/friends to upvote as well). As I write this, there are two ideas for paginated reports, and both have a [Needs Votes] status.
I hope this helps!?
I have run into this same issue with my model driven app. As a work around you can create a URL sub-area on navigation bar of application. It will open in a new tab. Not a great user experience but at least your report development work is viewable.
I just created a feature request. you can upvote it here: Enable Embedded Paginated Reports in Power Apps - Power Platform Community (microsoft.com) Hope this helps.
UPDATE - Once you have a paginated report created, you can embed that report into a new standard Power BI report. That new report, with embedded paginated report, can be used to create a Power BI dashboard that can be displayed in your Model Driven app successfully. I updated my app yesterday.
Using this method, I have two questions:
We're trying to do exactly this. Have you found any information?
Yes you can embed a paginated report into a model driven app. I am not sure about Power Pages. The instructions are listed in earlier posts above. The ability to view report is controlled by the access control in Power BI. If the logged in person has been given access to the report in POWER BI, they will have access to the report in model driven app. The paginated report can be exported as a PDF.
Hope this helps,
