How to automate a direct copy/paste from Excel file to OneNote WITHOUT embedding the Excel file

Company now requires an "action plan" be formatted in OneNote. My team prefers to work in Excel and has already done extensive work in Excel. Is it possible to automate a copy/paste of 1:1 cell info into OneNote, instead of doing it manually? Ideally the flow would automatically update OneNote when we make a change in Excel, worst case I'd like a way to trigger at a weekly cadence.  We are not allowed to embed the Excel file into OneNote, the information has to be pasted into the company provided template.  If doable, could you point me toward the steps to take?

So just to start with there is no "sync between" them so hence why (I assume you are asking for help in doing it using PA).

You have to specifically do one of 2 things

    1. Update the when an item or file is modified trigger in SharePoint (assuming the excel is there) , for instance.

    2. Then when you make changes and save, it will trigger the flow

    3. Pull back the rows you want to be used in the OneNote update/append.
You will either use Filter Array to get the rows you want, or you will use some Filter criteria in the Excel List Rows in a Table action

    4. In the flow you will use the Create HTML Table action from the rows you got back from Step 3

Since you didn't explain format within OneNote etc I am making an assumption here.

    5. You will then use the OneNote Action you need (depending on what you are doing), (adding or updating content will decide if you are appending or updating page content).

That or you will use a scheduled flow that runs, 1 time a day???

To do everything i said above, just your trigger is different.
