New Flow Help - Muliple Records

Hello All,

I have a scheduled WF that run daily and looks at a date column to see if todays date meets the condition is met.  If the condition is met, it changes another column to true.  I can have one or twenty records in the list that could meet this condition.  What I've noticed is the workflow runs but only moves through each record one at a time.  What I need is all records to run when this condition is met.

I tried using the when an item is modified trigger, but this list is very active and I also have a flow that sets Today's date on all records.

Any suggestions would be awesome.

Thank You!

Hi, based on what you have stated  you are doing the only two options you have.

I would however need to review your Flow to see about optimizing it. From a processing perspective, since you need to query the rows you want, it will need a loop.

However in the loop its possible to turn on Concurrency and process more than 1 row at a time, which would speed it up. BUT there are caveats, which is why I would need to see your flow. (The Scheduled one)

However, have you looked at making the one column a Calculated Column so it changes to true based on the other column automatically?

Also how do they interact with this List? is it via an App or a Form? Something that would allow you to set the value based on their interactions with creating the data, versus a flow?

If you like my answer, I would really appreciate if you please Mark it as Resolved, and give it a thumbs up, so it can help others

    Cheers

    Thank You

    Hello Michael,

Thank you for the quick response.

I do have a column that is changed with the the column is equal 'start'.  In the next step, it changes it to anothe value and sets a value in a different column.  WF is attached.

    Michael
