Hi,

I am designing a new applicant hiring form using powerapps. The data source for this form is a sharepoint list. I have a custom data cards with 2 checkboxes Assign, Completed for each Checklist Type that i need to select along with User details. I also have a submit button and on click of submit button the form has to be submitted.

Now my issue is i had mapped one of the checkboxes "Assign" to the column A in sharepoint list which is also the value field for the data card. How can i map the 2nd checkbox "Completed" to column B in sharepoint list and on submit both Columns A and B along with other user data needs to be inserted/updated

Please refer to the screenshot below.

Thanks,

    Hi,

This can be accomplished by having a column for each of the checkboxes, then when you have both checkboxes in the one datacard, you have the separate (completed) column's DataCard show the value of that textbox, then hide that additional datacard - do the same for the other additional cards.

Create you have 'arrival date/time' column for Assign,

Create column for 'arrival date/time' for the completed value.

Create new data card below that row, with the value of the item being that completed checkbox in the above datacard.

set visibility of the new data card to false.

Now when you tick that checkbox for completed, that value in that hidden column is updated and then submitted with the form

Repeat for the other checkboxes and columns.

Could you give that a try and let us know if that works?

If you have already solved this question yourself please do let us know how you resolved it,

    Many Thanks,

    ManCat

    Hi @iAm_ManCat ,

If you really want to do it quicker, then use two datacards

    - hide the 'title' label on the second datacard

    - so you'd have one datacard for ConfirmAssign and anotherfor ConfirmCompleted, etc etc - so they'd look like two separate cards from designer view but from user view it would just be one longer card:

    Hope this helps!
