Wrong required inputs to trigger a flow

Hello 🙂

In my canvas app, I run a PowerAutomate Flow with 5 inputs parameters :

- 2 required

- 3 optional

The issue is that when calling the flow in my app with "Run." it doesn't seem to reflect the real needed inputs for this flow.

In fact, with 2 required inputs and 3 optionals, PowerApps asks me to set “2 to 3” inputs.

Any idea why ?

Thank you !

    Heya,

So I tested this out a bit and it turns out Power Apps treats optional flow parameters as a singular optional no matter how many optionals you define. BUT, it treats it as a record of optionals, so:

Set up basic flow with 2 req, 3 opt, can see it fails in the same way you mentioned

But if you only include the optional parameters as a record containing the input names and their values then it works:

And it works if you remove any of the optionals as well:

So yeah, while there's no clear documented explanation of this - the answer is to wrap it in a record 😺

    Cheers,

    Sancho
