Multiple fx formulas in a single compose step?

Can I chain multiple formulas in one compose step like this somehow or do I need to use multiple compose steps?
In my example it only seems to run the first formula and skips the other ones.

@Power_Person Can you please elaborate what are you trying to achieve with this? If you are trying to write nested replace expression you can always use the one like below in a single expression.
replace(replace(replace('ABC','A','1'),'B','2'),'C','3')

I think this will not work in my case as my input has changing variables.
The structure is:
A: variable B: variable C: variable
I want to replace A, B and C but not the following variables, which I also do not know beforehand.
