Power app runs differently in editor to outside

Hi all, I'm new here!

I have created a power app that uses a button to trigger a Flow A. Flow A is the parent flow, and it triggers child Flow B and Flow C. Flow B creates a document within a sharepoint library. Flow C checks in the document.

I added Flow C this morning. The power app worked fine before then with creating documents that were checked out to me, so I just needed them to be checked in. It is important that I have checkin/out enabled on the sharepoint library. When I test the updated Flow A (with Flow B and C) it runs fine- doc created and checked in. I then went into my power app and refreshed the flow. When I run the app from within the editor it runs perfectly (the document is created and checked in). I saved the changes and then tried to run the power app from the list directly. The power app must be triggering the flow, because the document is created, but it isn't checked in. What's even more strange is that the run doesn't appear in the flow run history when I use the app from outside the editor.

I went back into the editor to check that the flow refresh was saved, and it ran fine again in the editor. How do I make it run with the updated flow from outside of the editor?

Also I don't know if it's relevant, but all the flows and the app are within a solution. I published the customisations and there was no change. It's all within the same environment.

Many thanks!
