Unable to import model driven solution due to power pages tool

Hi!

I have a solution for my model-driven app in Power Apps. It includes all tables used for the solution. The problem is that I have created Power Pages that use the same tables, and now I am unable to import my solution into my test environment.

  • See following screenshot for my import error (dependencies are for tables included in the solution for Power Pages, and I have tried to solve it by including these tables in my solution, without luck...)

How can I work with my Power Pages without them conflicting with my model-driven app solution? Do I need to delete my Power Pages to ensure successful importing, and what have I done wrong in the creation process of my Power Pages?

Another thing is, how can I work with my Power Pages in the development environment and later import them to test? By default, Power Pages create a lot of solution tools for Power Pages, so it seems like I am unable to include my Power Pages in my current solution.

Thanks in advance!

    Hi @marierasmu123 ,

As per your attached screenshot, it seems your solutions contains some dependent component which does not exist in your test environment. In such situations, here are few recommendations:

    • Verify your Solution components and remove the ones which are not required/dependent.
    • You may create a new fresh solution and add only required components that you need to move. This will save your time.
    • If you don't want to Migrate your Power Pages at the moment don't add them in your current solution.

For Power Pages migration from one environment to other there are few supported ways:

    1. XRM Toolbox "Portal Records Mover" tool
    2. You can add your Power Pages Site components to a Solution and import.
    3. You can use Pipelines for Power Pages migration.

Here are few useful links that you can go through for more information.

    Thanks,

    Saud
