How to set window name dynmically

Hello,

I have to insert data into dynamically changing widows. Window name is changing like below.

Customer_order_1234

Customer_order_123

Is there any possibility to have Wild card kind of integration. As Cusotmer_order_*

Hi @ndd ,

You can modify the element selector to "Starts with". If you double click on the selector, you can change it manually in the tree view. Alternatively, in the basic view you can replace = in window name with ^= and change the window title to something like "Customer_order_"

Thanks Michael for your reply.

Previously it is like,
window[Name="Customer Order -1234"][Process="Fnd.Explorer"]
Then I changes the same into below.
window[Name^="Customer Order -"][Process="Fnd.Explorer"]

Still this didn't work for me. Have I Done anything wrong ?

@ndd Double check you do not have any typos and you have correct letter cases. If it does not help, do the same using Contains or better use RegEx match. RegEx is a bit unintuitive, so try a regex builder online to test if you have it right. I had before also some cases that the selector did not work well and RegEx saved me.
