I created a simple flow that checks for new messages in a specific Teams channel. If the message contains the word "translate", then it should trigger the rest of the flow.

The condition always results false

Even though the message has been simplified as much as possible.

Using Compose as suggested in another post for better analysis

string(outputs('Compose'))

at the if value and worked like a charm

You could use a ParseStep to evaluate it correctly. From the given screenshot you could try the following:

Under the IF condition you are mapping the output of the compose action step. Try converting to string() expression. Believe it is treating as JSON object now hence returning false.
