Hi, I have an app with a start up screen that plays a short full screen (Portrait for phone) video and has some text and a button over the top of it.
This works as expected in edge and on IOS but when the app is run in Chrome, the video is on top of the text and button. Before the video loads, you can see the button and text briefly.
Clicking where the button should be still works as expected.
This is only happening after the app is published. It looks fine in Chrome when previewing during build.
Thanks,
Matt.
@mkinnear I have created sample app tested a scenario similar to what you described. It works well in all browser. Would you please share your test app here. So that I can have a play
I have recreated the issue in a new test app with just the sample video. Please see screenshots attached.
I have tried different combinations of send to front/back/grouping etc.
Chrome:
Edge:
Thanks,
Matt.
Please post a screenshot of chrome to understand more. One of the thing you can try is try setting Video reorder to "Bring to Front" and then rest of the controls as "send backward" or "send back".
Let me know how it goes.
i @ragavanrajan ,
Thanks for the quick response!
I have tried all that you have suggested but none of these seem to solve the issue.
Thanks,
Matt.
Hi @mkinnear ,
Can you check whether your chrome holds any extension especially adblockers or special extensions. If it runs in preview then most probably due to cache memory there may be a overlap
Below are the steps you can try:
1. Try ctrl + f5 in chrome
2. Try incognito in Chrome
3. Turn off all extensions .
