How can I learn Power Automate for desktop as a Developer

Hi, I've initiated my self paced learning about Power Automate for desktop. However, I have no environment to have a hands on experience. I have had an MS Developer environment previously, but it expired already. Is it possible for me to request a new environment for my same account? How? Do I need to delete my expired subscription?

Whenever I try to JOIN the Microsoft 365 developer program from this link, I just get redirected to my expired Microsoft 365 developer subscription.

    Hi,

You can use your personal environment to practice and learn Desktop and is a great place to start; you don't need an specific environment.

A GREAT place to learn Power Automate is general is Microsoft Learn.  It provides a structured learning format that is second to none. (1 hour) Get started with Power Automate for desktop - Training | Microsoft Learn

You can also watch some great YouTube videos but try and focus on complete tutorials vs code snippets because it is easy to get lost. (615) power automate tutorial - YouTube

Last but not least, learn by doing!  You are going to learn and retain a lot more by actually building sample desktop flows.

If I can help with anything, please let me know!
