best practice for GUIDS

Hi i am using SSIS and KingswaySoft  to do a data migration and if there are any errors I send the error details to a sql table for reference. One of the columns is the GUID of the failed record and when it stores the GUID in the database the GUID is encapsulated in curly brackets {087f1372-b1b8-e311-be7b-005056b9356c}.  Should i remove these brackets or just leave them. I may further down the line do a comparison to reprocess them so would the comparison fail going forward

Hello, @gmanThe curly braces are added by SSIS when you are converting from Dataverse Tables Uniquidentifier to a string in the SSIS. So, if you remove them and then reprocess them against newly added/populated GUID from Dataverse, that would fail because of the string mismatch. So, if they are always going to be converted to Text when they are coming from the Dataverse Tables, I would leave the curly braces.
