Hi everyone
I want to build an approval flow for a leave request using sharepoint lists. I've got my list and I managed to send a request to the manager for approval. But I am having trouble with trying to send an approval confirmation email to a staff member in HR. I was thinking if there is a way to send an email straight away to a particular staff member after the manager clicks on the approval button on the email.
I have two conditions. One is to send an approval/reject email to the manager and the other condition is supposed to send a confirmation email to the HR staff member stating that the person is on leave. The problem is that the second email also goes to the manager. How can I make it so that after the manager approves the request a confirmation email is sent to HR?
Any help is appreciated
Thank you

Yes it is possible. After Manager approval, use condition ('Outcome' is equal to Approve), under Yes block use send email option.
Thanks

Hi @v-litu-msft
Sorry for the late reply. At this stage when someone fills the leave request an email is sent to the manager for approval or rejection. What I want to do after that is that if the manager approves the form, I would like an email be sent to HR to tell them that John for example is on leave.
Hi Hardesh
Thanks so much for your response. I had to do other things for the last few days so I will have to check the flow again and see if the solution you offered will work.
Thank you
Hi @Anonymous,
The problem is that the second email also goes to the manager. How can I make it so that after the manager approves the request a confirmation email is sent to HR?
Do you mean, you want to remove the manager Email from approver EMails of the Send approval?

"But I am having trouble with trying to send an approval confirmation email to a staff member in HR." are you having staff member email? if yes then follow these steps-
1. In condition you used "Outcome" is equal to Approve (this is correct)
2. in Yes - your are updating column status (This is correct)
3. After this why are you using apply to each? simple send email.
Thanks
