Changing the Connection on an Execute an SQL Query Action

Hi everyone,

I'm an intern and over the summer I've worked to develop several PowerAutomate flows. However, now that the end of my internship is approaching, I need to switch over the ownership of my flows to someone else at the company. I've had no problem doing this for most of my flow actions but I cannot find a way to change a the connection for my Execute an SQL Query action. The connection for the new owner doesn't automatically pop-up under the My Connections menu and the Add New Connection option did not allow him to successfully connect, even though he should have access to the database. I think I could possibly be  entering the wrong connection name, but all the other information in the add connection menu should be correct. Is there another way I could try to replace my SQL connection with his?

Thanks!

You should go to Data > Connections

Find your SQL connection and click on 3 dots to edit it. This will make sure where ever these connections are used are replaced by your new credentials

Please click Accept as Solution if it resolved your problem or give it a Thumbs Up if it helped you in anyway this will allow other people to search correct solutions effectively.

    Thanks,
    Rahber
