Dear Microsoft Support Team,
My name is Juan Pedro Garcia Melguizo. I’m working on automating the processing of transcripts from recorded Microsoft Teams meetings.
Currently, the meeting video is automatically saved to SharePoint, and the transcript is generated correctly. However, I’ve noticed that the transcript file is not stored alongside the video in the SharePoint folder. Instead, I have to manually download the transcript from the meeting interface.
I would like to automate the following workflow using Power Automate:
- Detect when the transcript is available.
- Automatically download the transcript file to the same folder as the video recording.
- Process the transcript using Copilot Studio or Azure OpenAI.
- Send a summary of the meeting to all participants via email.
Could you please clarify:
- Where exactly is the transcript file stored when a Teams meeting is recorded?
- Is there a way to access or download the transcript automatically using Power Automate or Microsoft Graph API?
- Is it possible to configure Teams or Stream so that the transcript is saved directly to the same SharePoint folder as the video?
Thank you very much for your assistance.
Best regards,
Juan Pedro Garcia
