Connect Custom connector to Clinked API

Hi!

Could you help me with connecting to the Clinked API from Flow?  This could be really valuable for us.  I’m not all that familiar with these authentication methods.

The documentation for this API is here: https://api.clinked.com/docs/index.html#_overview

And the sample/specifics for their authentication process is here: https://api.clinked.com/docs/basics-of-authentication.html.  I can't figure out to set up this connection successfully from Flow to the Clinked API.

You use a username and password, then you have to “create an application” and from that you get a client id and secret.

I realize this is very specific, but would really help us out.  Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Mike

    Hi @CyberSUREMike,

It seems that you are trying to create a custom to Clinked API. Before you create the custom connector, you must describe the API you want to connect to so that the connector understands the API’s operation and data structure. Have you created a Swagger file already?

Then follow the steps in following doc to register the custom connector to flow:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/custom-connectors/define-blank

    Other docs for your reference:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/flow/developer/register-custom-api

    Best regards,

    Mabel

    Mabel,

Thanks for your reply!  I had actually followed the steps, but couldn't get past the authentication.  I have since learned from the provider that this API cannot be access using MS' tools for now, so we are pursuing more complex avenues like custom Azure Function Apps.

    Thanks!

    Mike
