Change in Manage run-only permissions???

Trying to share run-only permissions on a Flow using the "Invite a SharePoint list or library" method. If I recall correctly, it used to provide a drop-down of the SP site that the Flow referred to, and below was a drop-down list of the relevant libraries or lists. Lately, when I've been trying to share a Flow with a library, instead of getting the list of libraries, it shows a string of letters and numbers. Then, if I select that string, it displays

Currently shared with

Site ID

List ID: xxxxx-xxxxx....

Is this suggesting that Flow thinks my library is a SP list instead?

Bottom line, it doesn't make the Flow show in the Power Automate menu of the Library.

Did something change?

Thanks,

Anne

I just ran a quick test and saw the same issue with the list name not showing.  That said, If you select and entry from the dropdown it will work.  The string that shows in the dropdown is the list/library ID.  You can verify that it is the correct list or library by going to library settings - the ID will show in the URL.  I'm sure this is a bug.

However, the Flow did show for individuals who were in the members group can be run by them.

I'm going to re-verify my results, because my experience was that users did NOT see the Flow in their Power Automate menu while inside the library in question.

In your recollection, didn't this work correctly before? Showing the human-readable name of the Library?

And does the fact that the Currently shared with status shows it is a List, not a Library indicate something's wrong on Microsoft's side?

    Thanks,

    Anne

One other question--the members of the Library are Contribute--no delete. Is there anything about this permission level that would keep them from seeing the Flow?

This feature has worked in the past.  My experience has been that end users frequently do not select a document or select multiple documents when the click on the Automate drop down menu.  Unless a single document has been selected, the Flow will not show in the dropdown.

It started running again. However, the share run-only privileges with a SharePoint list/library is still not working. It still shows letters and numbers in the drop-down, and selecting that fails to make the Flow appear for the users of the library. If contribute--no delete permissions are supposed to keep you from seeing a Flow that has been shared to a Library, then this is working as designed. But if not, then this is a bug.

Thanks for your time and attention.

I'm sure this is a BUG.  I have dozens of flows that work this way for lists but for all my libraries Flows don't show up.  My users can edit the libraries and files ok in Sharepoint so its not a permissions issue at my end.
