PowerApps rear camera not working with Samsung Tab S9

I have a singular case, I have an app developed to work using the camera

The first issue is that the app opens the front camera instead of the rear one. This happens only using the Samsung Tab S9 (it works using any other tablet, Samgung A7 as an example)

I tried added a toggle button to swap between the cameras and it works for the other tablets but for the Samsung Tab S9 acts like a zoom using only the front camera, can't get the rear camera in this model

any idea??

Hi JR-23101710-0,

I think you have found a one-off issue with this device which should be shared with MS. I would suggest raising a ticket for it with MS if its a business-critical issue. I had a look at some MS documentation but it doesn't have anything noted for Samsung - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/mobile/powerapps-mobile-troubleshoot

Hello,

unfortunately i think i cant help you with that, but have you tried to just hardcode (1-3) into the properties of the camera?

company is currently in contact with Microsoft, cause we have lots of problems with The S9 tablets(bought around 20 pieces) + Powerapps..

e.g. when i rotate the Tablet with a responsive APP running, or connecting a Bluetooth keyboard while the App is running, or switching to Camera, rotating the Device, taking a picture and returning to the app again, the app crashes(restarts)...

we also had the S7 tablets, differen Samsung smartphones, or Apple Tablets, where everything worked without any problems..

Can you reproduce any of my mentioned errors?
