Update SharePoint site from Text Label

Hi all,

Just like the title states, I am wondering if it is possible to update a SharePoint site based on the value in a text label. In the app I am currently developing, the name of a project manager is automatically filled out in a text label whenever a user selects a project from a dropdown. Currently, the app uses a text input to update a column on our SharePoint, but I am wondering if it would be possible to remove the text input and just directly have the mentioned label update the site instead.

Alternatively, I could also use a solution where my text input box is automatically populated based off of the value of a text label. I really just want to remove the need for our end users to fill out the text box to avoid issues with data consistency.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

"Tyler" is in the label that fills out automatically, but needs to be entered in the text input to the left.

    Write on TextInputDefault:

    Label1.Text
