Refresh gallery after inserting new data using API

Hi all,

I have created a API on my machine and I am accessing it using custom connector and on premise gateway. 

 

I have build a app to work on my api. I am calling and inserting the data using a button click.

On button click, I can see new data inserting in my database. 

 

My gallery is also populating from another API.

My requirment is to refresh the data of gallery on click of the button.

I tried Refresh(API_Vishal.gettheuserdata()) but get error, only managed connections can be refreshed.
