Are Flow Step (Preview) for Business Process Flows generally available or in preview?

Hi community,

I need to invoke a Power Automate flow from a Business Process Flow and I have to do it in a production environment. Currently there is an option to achieve this easily, the flow step from the picture below, the problem is that it seems to be in "preview".

I wanted to know when this functionality would be generally available (GA) and I found the link below which stands it is GA since August 2020:

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform-release-plan/2020wave1/power-automate/steps-business-process-flows-are-now-generally

The question is: Is this flow step in BPFs in preview or GA? Or maybe there is something I am not getting right.

If still in preview, what would be the alternative to call a Power Automate flow from a Business Process Flow in production?

Thank you in advance!

Manuel

    Any ideas on this, please?

I know one alternative would be to create a specific boolean column in a Dataverse table as a flag to start my flow. This flag will be set to false by default . Then in the BPF the user can set this flag to true when they want to launch the Power Automate flow. The Power Automate flow trigger would be "when a row is modified". Then check if the flag is true to continue with the steps I have in my current flow triggered with the Flow Step from the BPF.

The thing is the button in the BPF is the preferred option by the client and it also allows more control while the flow is running.

    Any advice is welcome!

I have the same question as msanpol. It seems it is now generally available as of Aug 23, 2020, but the fact it says Flow Step (Preview) in the Unified Process Editor is very confusing.
