Replacing text in a dialog box

I'm trying to automate the renaming of a portfolio in Yahoo Finance.  I want the new name to be the text version of the current date (not time).  I've tried this:Replacetext.png

 and then:

Populatetext.png

But the flow just stops.  What am I doing wrong?  Thanks so much!

P.S. Prior to trying these options, I have a step that gets the datetime and coverts it to date only and then converts it to text.

GetCurrentDate.png

I have the same question (0)

Can you show us your whole flow (or at least the applicable portion), including the one where you convert it to text? I'm wondering if you aren't grabbing the correct variables, unless you are reusing "CurrentDateTime" after conversion.

Do you know what format you need the date in? I believe you need an extra step after "Get current date and time" to convert it to text, like this:

and then you can use "FormattedDateTime" as your input variable for the Populate action

Does it make a difference that the field to be populated is in a dialog box?

Is it moving too fast? Maybe you need a wait time before it.....or maybe you can try clicking it and using SendKeys instead?

Or if the cursor is already actively in the text box once you get to that screen, you could send keys a {Control}({A}), delete, and then your formatted date time.
