SQL when a item is created never stops

Hi all,

after deep looking into the internet to find a solution to my problem, I finally give up and post here. I hope someone can help me.

I try to build a simple flow that sends an email when an item is created. And that works perfectly fine! Or I should say, it works toooooooo fine. Lol. In fact, the flow never stops running and sends thousands of emails. And it won't stop till I turn off the flow.

Any idea why?

More optional information:

  • I had to create an identity column that didn't existed before, as it is a mandatory point regarding documentation
  • I'm using a gateway to connect Power Automate to my company server. I'm using a connection showing that the status is "connected"
  • Yesterday, I build the flow and it worked just fine (1 email sent) when I've added an item in the SQL table
  • Today I wanted to see if it still worked. I created a new item in the table and the flow began to go crazy. I received hundreds of the same email.
  • While I was trying to debug, I created 3 more items in the SQL table. Now I receive hundreds of mail times 3!! One for each new entry, looping infinitely till I turn off the flow
  • Here the flow:

  • And here the infinite history. As you can see, it triggers 5 or 6 times per minute

Thanks in advance for your help.

Happy new year's eve!!
