Hi All,
We have a requirement as follows for a client.
- Procurement department will enter the PURCHASE ORDER which has supplier information, supplier address, contact, phone, supplier email, description items etc.
We will be using PowerApps with SharePoint Online. - Now, the client is asking to pull a template (Word Document) for Purchasing order FORM (PowerApps) and autogenerate this PowerApps form as PDF when the procurement enters the data. After that PDF document to different suppliers.
- For e.g.
Consider an HR recruitment form where HR admin creates a FORM (3rd party SharePoint Online Form) with candidate’s information such as candidate’s first name, last name, personal email address emails, candidate’s manager etc. as shown:
Manager approves the candidate.
and Offer letter is generated with the information pre-filled detailed with Form that HR admin filled in.
Offer letter is generated in a document library called NewUserDocTemplates
Offer Letter Template - Test.docx is a template based on HR Form teams have pre-defined.
and Workflow has all the variables
Q: Does PowerApps / Flow has the option to generate offer letter or purchasing order based on PowerApps form and Flow?
There is a flow connector that converts Office documents to PDF. https://flow.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/convert-files-using-muhimbi/
But I am looking for an option were Procurement department team can use a standard template (Word document template) and when a Purchasing Order when a new PO is generated on the fly as PDF document.
