Forms Multiselect to Word Doc Template

Hello Power Community.  I'm struggling to figure this out and hoping your brains can help!  I have several multi-select questions on a Microsoft Form and I need to populate a Word Doc template with the responses, showing the checked and unchecked choices as the end user submits them.  I am populating a SharePoint list with the responses already, using a JSON expression for each question, but I have no idea how to show all of the answer choices with checkmarks on the ones selected.  PLEASE HELP!!!!!!  Thanks!  🙂

    I've got the selected answers displaying by replacing all of the special characters, but I need to show all of the original choices, and show which ones were checked...

    Sorry, but populating Checkboxes in word templates is still not supported.

    Currently Supported Content Controls

    • Plain Text Content Control
    • Combo Box Content Control
    • Drop-Down List Content Control
    • Image Content Control
    • Repeating Section Content Control

    Hi @brianjmcmillen ,

     

    Hope you figured this out by now! For anyone still looking for a solution, Plumsail Documents may be a nice option (it's paid, though). They have a checkbox formatter that you can add to a Word document, and then enter dynamic content into it directly from a form.

     

    They're offering a free one-month trial, so you can give it a try and see if it works for you.
