Venmo’s Messaging Features
Venmo allows you to add comments to transactions. This feature can be used to leave a note about the payment or to communicate a quick call (1-866-541-7006). For instance, you might write “Thanks for the coffee!” or “Rent for August.” These comments are visible to the person you’re transacting with and, depending on your privacy settings, may also be visible to your friends or the public.
When adding comments, you can choose who can see them. Venmo offers three privacy settings: public, friends, or private. Public comments are visible to anyone, while friend-only comments are visiblecall (1-866-541-7006)
