Hi all,
my problem is the following: Once a new item is created in a specific SharePoint List, I'd like to start a flow similar to the "Approval Flow". However, in my case, an E-Mail should be send to a designated group of people. This is done using "Send E-Mail with options" because my co-workers shall be able to selesct "read and understood" and "open questions". This I can handle.
The tricky part is: Once every person has read the document and selected either of the two options, an E-Mail shall be send to my supervisor, stating who has read and understodd the document and who has any questions. I think this can be realised using different conditional exressions and the E-Mail addresses of my co-workers. Anywa, I'd really appreciate any help.
Thanks in advance!
Hi @Luchoef
I think "Send email with options" cannot be used for your requirements, because that action only retrieves the response from one user, even if you send the email to multiple users.
I recommend that you create an "Approval", you can use the option "Start and Wait for an approval" and Custom responses. Then, after everyone has selected the option, create an html table with the summary of the responses and send it in an email to the supervisor.
To send the approval to all the users in a group, use the action "List group members" and append all the user's emails to a string (separated by a semicolon) ,then use it in the Assigned to entry of the approval.
It should look like this.
The final email.
Hope this helps.
Regards.
