Send Email with Image in Body

Hi All, 

 

I want to automate sending email with Image file in Body and the flow will be trigged by schedule. 

The image file is in local machine I want the image file is embedded in email body not attached as attachments.

So I'd like to ask how can I set the flow in Power Automate Desktop. 

Is it possible if I use <img src='local path'> in flow? I'm really new person for PAD so any comments would be appreciated.

    Hi @danbi1991 

     

    Haven't tried this in PAD but whether it is PAD or any other RPA tool, for sending any email with image embedded in body, at first that image needs to be attached to the email and then pass the cid (ContentId) of that image in the image tag you have mentioned. You will get html code related to this on the internet.

    I tried out what I mentioned to you and it works.

    Not sure if you are using Outlook but this is how the flow is.

    This is how I passed the image name with the content id in the html.

    <img src='cid:%ImageName%'>
