Forms automation to create folders in SharePoint based on user responses

Hello, I want to automate Forms to SharePoint and the process would be as follows:

User responds to the Forms > A folder is created with the User ID + Response Date, inside a folder defined by me > The "Attach Image" field from the form is added to this folder.

I need a folder to be created for each user who responds to the form, and it should be possible to have duplicate folders, as the user will be submitting the form frequently. Is it possible to perform this operation?

    Hi,

The answer to your question is yes. However, you cannot duplicate folders.

    1. Add trigger for Response Submitted
    2. Use the Get Response Details
    3. If you mean the users AD/Entra ID???????? then you would need to add a Get User Profile V2, and use the UPN (email address of the submitter)
    to get their ID

My Suggestion would be that you create a folder for every person (just as you asked)

But only name the folder their email or their ID

Then inside that folder, you would create a folder (per date) that they submitted something. This would allow you to CHECK if the folder already exists for that date, under their ID, and if so, just add the Image to that folder. This way you are allowing multiple submissions per day but you dont have a bunch of users folders all under the same Document Library.

Instead you have their Master Folder, and then subfolders by date under that. Easy to find each users messages.
