Using Markdown in Approval emails proving inconsistent results and removes text.

I am using markdown text in my approval emails. Sometimes it will show perfectly when the user receives the email and sometimes portions of the markdown are ignored and thus the text doesn't show up.

In the 2nd image, it shows the reason bolded correctly but the 1st image show just the markdown ** and no text.  It seems to be random and in random markdowns throughout the email. (this is the same email but just different submissions) and i did confirm that the 1st one actually does have text to be shown in the original submission/form. Being a 4 step approval process, other approval emails look fine.

It is making approval emails to be less reliable because it skips important information that needs to be there.  How do we ensure that the markdown does not strip away the content?

    Hi @jcollins,

Could you please share a full screenshot of the configuration of your flow?

Could you share how you configured the approval emails to use Markdown text?

I have made a simple test on my side and don't have the issue that you mentioned, content displayed normally.

Please check if Markdown is correct.  As is refered in the link below:

    Best Regards,

    Barry

I would say my approval emails are a bit more complex then. Several sections with several lines being bolded or enlarged.

I know it is set correctly because it sometimes works fine. Sometimes the 'Reason.Value' is completely missing and only the "**" are included in the email.   Sometimes it just ignores the "####" and "**" on a section and just prints "**<section heading>**" as is (no formatting).

Example of Approval Email not showing formatting:

    markdown bad.jpg

Example of same Approval but showing correct formatting:
