creating file when file is modified in sharepoint

Hi there,

Im trying to use 'create file' when a certain file is uploaded (modified) in sharepoint but every time i do that it says my 'create file' is in a loop.
If i use 'create file' in combination with 'when a new email arrives' i dont have this issue....

Anyone got a clue or a point in the right direction how to solve it?

Regards,

Ronald

When you say your "'create file' is in a loop" you mean it is in a For Each Loop?  Does it look something like the screenshot below?

Looking at your screenshot I see that you have a "Get files (properties only)" action, which returns an array of records.  If you picked a property from the "Get files..." output as an input for the create file or copy file action it would create a For Each loop since it's sourced from an array/collection.

I can't tell for sure from your screenshot but perhaps you don't want the "Get files (properties only)" but the "Get file properties" or "Get file content", they do all sound the same but do different things.

    Hi Mark,

    Your last remark i noticed.
And then it says it is a closed loop...so how do i fix that issue?
