Get changes for an item or a file (properties only) not working

I am facing an issue with the Get changes for an item or a file (properties only) action in Power Automate.

 

Here’s my setup:


  • I created a document library where the following settings are enabled:

    • Content Approval

    • Create major and minor (draft) versions

    • Require documents to be checked out before they can be edite  

My requirement:


  • When a document is uploaded and later modified, people use Check In with Submit for Content Approval.

  • At that time, I want to generate a custom Document ID in the format: DMS-ID-Version Number.

  • To prevent the flow from being triggered unnecessarily, I added the Get changes for an item or a file (properties only) action to check changes before proceeding.


    •  

The problem:


  • The Get changes for an item or a file (properties only) action is not working
Has anyone else faced this issue?

    The error is BadGateway OOPS which is generic error.
     
    You already shared the screenshot however, for troubleshooting can you share a screenshot of the setup of your action?
     
    Normally you could use the Trigger Window Start Token & Trigger Window End token if you also have a SharePoint trigger in your setup. Did you use that as well in your setup?
