SQL connection error - The .Net Framework Data Provider for OLEDB

SQL Connection is not working though test connection is success.

 

The .Net Framework Data Provider for OLEDB (System.Data.OleDb) does not support the Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers (MSDASQL). Use the .Net Framework Data Provider for ODBC (System.Data.Odbc).

 

Installed ODBC drivers but not showing up on Data link

    Provide this connection string as shown in the screenshot, try it out

     

    DSN=SQL_Server;Trusted_Connection=Yes;APP=Power Automate;WSID=**SERVER NAME**;DATABASE=**DB Name**

    I tried but its not working, actually trying to connect to amazon redshift self-service database..

    I see this might be an issue, dnt see ODBC provider here, do you know how to populate ODBC provider

    you can also add through OLEDB SQL Sever, try that method it works.

    Hi Srini84, I did followed the steps form the article, as i already mentioned test connection is coming thru but its failing when I ran it from power automate desktop step.

     

    i doubt issue is with OLE providers on SQL connection string which doesnt show ODBC providers

    Did you tried 32 bit & 64 bit ODBC driver version?
