Hi All

I'm trying in Power Automate to use the IF statement to check is a output value is 1, if it equals 1 then I need text 'Job Complete' otherwise 'Job in Progress'. See command below, please can you identify why this comes up as a Expression is Invalid

if(outputs('Compose_Remove_Brackets_From_JobCompleted')=1,'Job Complete','Job in Progress')

Expression should be

if(equals(outputs('Compose_Remove_Brackets_From_JobCompleted'),1),'Job Complete','Job in Progress')

Hi @CFernandes

Flow is retrurning a error when I try to save

Flow save failed with code 'InvalidTemplate' and message 'The template validation failed: 'The circular dependency detected in template language expressions.'.'.

Can you help?

@TheJockey67 - Just did a test - Please add a compose and then set your variable... I think you are trying to reference and set the same variable.

if(equals(outputs('Compose_Remove_Brackets_From_JobCompleted'),1),'Job Complete','Job in Progress')

@TheJockey67 I assume you are setting a variable? If yes, instead of setting the Variable Just use Compose 🙂

Hey @TheJockey67 - No luck with Importing.... getting an Error..

Can you please confirm the output - Compose_Remove_Brackets_From_JobCompleted is 1 or 0 ?

@CFernandes Output will be either 1 or 0

If it equals 1 I need the Job Complete text otherwise it equals 0 so need the text Job in Progress
