Line Chart: Fixed Y-Axis Property Bug

(1) ShareShare

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

I will set the Y-Axis Max to 20. The values are all lower than 20 but the chart will still dynamically scale. I have tried to submit a support ticket for this but whenever I try to sign in to submit a ticket I am taken to the make.powerapps home screen. Leaving the screen the chart is on and then coming back to the screen with the chart seems to fix the bug. However this is not an acceptable work around.

    Hi @Anonymous ,

Could you please share more details about this issue? What kind of values are y-axis values in your table?

I made a test on my end, everything worked fine.

For support ticket issue, please have another try in Power Platform Admin Center:

Did you ever get a solution to this? I'm finding the Y-Axis Max value works as expected in preview mode but is completely ignored in the published output.

A very hacky workaround I came up with was to add an additional series to the chart (using AddColumns) that contained values that go up high enough to force the chart to show my desired Y-Axis Max. Then I styled the additional series with a white/transparent line color so you can't see it.

Has anyone found a legitimate solution to this issue? Running into the same issue now.
