Difference between Common Data Model and Common Data Services

What is the different between the Common Data Model and the Common Data Services (CDS)?

    Hi @duncant ,

    The Common Data Model is a secure business database, comprising of well-formed standard business entities that can be deployed for use in your organization.

    The Common Data Service acts as a service, which lets you securely store and manage data that's used by business applications. Data within Common Data Service is stored within a set of entities.

    In other words, the CDM provided data storgae mechanism for CDS. The CDS is built on CDM. Please also check and see if the following article would help in your scenario:
