Outlook Web Access Error - UserHasNoMailboxAndNoLicenseAssignedError

Hi,

I'm encountering an issue while trying to log into Outlook Web Access (OWA) using my Microsoft account. I receive the following error message:

UserHasNoMailboxAndNoLicenseAssignedError

Here are the details from the error log:

  • UTC Date: 2025-02-10T13:27:18.206Z
  • Client Id: 8DA636352CAA46A196E34AEC477803B4
  • Session Id: 1e858eb9-41ba-4dba-bb97-d0e2c093b841
  • Client Version: 20250131002.10
  • Error Code: 500
  • Error Message: Microsoft.Exchange.Clients.Owa2.Server.Core.OwaUserHasNoMailboxAndNoLicenseAssignedException

Steps Taken So Far:

  1. Tried logging in using different browsers.
  2. Cleared cache and cookies.
  3. Verified my Microsoft 365 subscription is active.
  4. Confirmed that my account is still active.

Questions:

  • What causes this error?
  • How can I resolve this issue and regain access to my Outlook mailbox?
  • Is this related to a license issue? If so, how do I check and fix it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Outlook web access is part of Office 365. You'll need a Work or School Account to access it.  For a Microsoft Account you would use Outlook.com.
