Hi,

On create action the flow fails and throws this error "The response to partial content upload request was not valid. The returned range header value 'bytes=0-101288' is not in the expected range of '0-99225' with unit set to 'bytes'"

But i can see the file is already created and are working as expected.

I'm a very, very beginner user of Power Automate and any other programing tool.

However, the work around for me was to set the "configure run after" as below.

    Not elegant, but worked.

Despite the error, the file is properly copied.

The end result of my flow sends an email with an attachment.

The attachment is readable after the email is received.

I have also included a copy to a folder inside the SharePoint, and it is working good.

Really a strange error, but works.

Can you please go to the Settings of the Create Item and See if "Allow Chunking" is on?

Usually the header range allows the size of the message (not just the file) that is coming through the HTTP request and if the incoming request is big it will through the header range error.

    Hello @Rahber

If a switch "Allow chunking" OFF, the flow works fine

this solves my problem i hope it will be the same for @kannan1

    Hi @ JGollut

I am glad it solved your problem. Please mark the post as correct solution or upvote it so other people can find it.

Here is the detailed explanation: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/logic-apps/logic-apps-handle-large-messages

FWIW...in case others stumble in here when searching for a similar error...

I too found that turning the "Allow Chunking" off allowed my Create File action to work when using an SFTP-SSH (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/sftpwithssh/) connection.

I hope this doesn't muddy the water for this OP's error convo, but this was the error I rec'd which Google led me here which was a step towards solving my error, too.

InvalidProtocolResponse. The response to partial content upload initiating request is not valid. The response to initiating partial content upload request must contain a valid location header.
