How to connect drop down list values to form?

Hey,

I think this is a simple issue to solve, but it doesn't open for me.

I have super simple App. With it user grade topics with scale of 0-5. App has questions and after each there is dropbown list where user can choose values from 0 to 5. Dropdown gets its data (numbers 0 to 5) from SharePoint list. I wanted to make separate drop down list from form, because I think they are more easy to modify.

I have a problem in connecting drop down list to a form, which is connected to another SharePoint list. When I'm trying to select that data card gets its value from drop down list, system gives an error. Error message is below:

So is there any change that I can connect separate drop down list to form, which is connected to SharePoint list?

BR,

Antti

    Hey Antti, would you mind sharing the code that is causing the error? I would suspect that you may simply need to add a .Text to the end of a control name, such as

    DataCardValue71.Text

    instead of just

    DataCardValue71

    or something like that. And another issue might be where you are trying to tie the form and the dropdown together, which seems to be the Default property.

    If you can share the code or screenshots of the where the error is happening, I'd be happy to help out with it!

    Hi @Anonymous ,

    Could you show me more details about your drop down's settings?

                                                                    the form settings?

    Formulas or pictures will all help.

    What's more, is the field's data type that the drop down display text?

    Hey,

    Thak yuo for answering! In the dropdown I have following code:

    OnChange=Set(Worksite1,Dropdown_1.Selected.Number),

    where Worksite 1 is variable I create in this code. Dropdown_1 in name of the dopdown control. And Number is the name of columns in SharePoint list where is number 0 to 5.

    In the datacard I have following code:

    Default=Worksite1

    These codes gives the error I preseted above.

    Hi @Anonymous

    Could you tell me what is the Number filed's data type?

    Is a choice field?

    Best regards,
