Hi all,

Hope someone can help me with this question. Since today I am getting the following message when committing to Azure Devops. I haven't done anything crazy. Does someone know how to fix this?

"There was an issue commiting to Git, there was a poblem unpacking the source files on Git.Error PA 3999: Unable to parse template file PowerApps_CoreControlts_ComboxCanvasTemplate_dataField".

Many many thanks in advance!

@bangsluke  This might be something from Microsoft's side. All my applications show the same error when committing. I dived into the code and noticed that this problem occurs since Combobox Template version 30.0. Is there someone from the Power Apps team that could check this issue?

Same issue here as of this morning.

This one is apparently due to a TabList, but otherwise it is the same error

@DK1019  @devbun  @bangsluke  I had a support call with Microsoft and they provided a small workaround. When you click on your App settings > Support > Authoring Version > Edit > Choose the one ending with 30 (an earlier version).

If you do this, the commits will work. This will be a possible solution in the meantime!

Perfect, thanks for sharing this short term solution - I can confirm it's fixed my problem too.

Really wish Microsoft would take more care before pushing out such buggy releases...

@bangsluke  Awesome! Well in all honesty, this GIT feature is still experimental. So it's something we as users need to be aware of that it could sometimes pose some issues. Anyway, even though it's experimental, hope Microsoft can provide a quick fix!

Thanks @Tjan - this has fixed my issue.

My Authoring version was greyed out whatever I did but adding

    &studio-version=v3.24052.30.298708436

to the end of the URL got the same result. Fingers crossed there is a fix soon as the update did fix my modern buttons, even if I couldn't save!

I don't see that version - I'm in the UK.
