One drive data source keeps changing to the users account rather than the 'client account'

Hi,

New to powerapps, i created an app that and used a client account that i wanted to handle sending emails and store data files for it on one drive for business. Everything worked fine for me during testing but when i rolled it out to a few users for further testing it would keep trying to find the data files inside their own one drives rather than the client account i had setup for it. Another thread said to make sure the connector was one drive for business and i have removed and readded it to make sure but i still have the same issue. Have also noticed its using the users email as well but thats not a big deal for me.

anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

Did you make sure to share the data file stored in OneDrive for Business with the other uwers in addition to sharing the Powerapps app?  The data files behind the datasource need to be specifically shared.

    Hi @Josh_M ,

If you want to share an app to others, you not only need to share the app, but also share the data source.

In your issue, you use file in one drive for business. So you need to share the file to other users' one drive for business.

What's more, the shared app's connection will be disconnected in other's account. You need to recreate connection with data source.

To sum up , sharing an app needs three steps:
    1)share app

    2)share data soucre

    3)recreate connection

Here's a doc about it for your reference:
