Turn off Auto-Suggest in text inputs

Hello,

I have a canvas app. My users are mainly using the desktop version of power apps, not the browser. When using modern text inputs, like a search bar or a form, we are seeing seemingly random suggestions in a pop up above or below the text input box. I say random because I am almost certain that the suggestions are not from the 'history' of that particular input box - regardless, we do not want to see the suggestions at all.

So far, the only way I have been able to avoid the auto suggestions this is to replace a modern text control with the "Classic" text input box.

Are there any settings to control the "auto-suggestions" on the modern controls? Must I use the classic controls to avoid this while removing all my modern controls? No one seems 100% sure how to fix this, and I cannot find documentation on it.

Thank you.

UPDATE 2025-08-24: We were unable to find a way to disable the auto-suggestions in the Desktop [Windows Store] application, including changing settings for Edge. We migrated users to Firefox where adjusting the browser settings currently works.

I don't think this is related to a setting for the textbox. Instead I think this is picking up the AutoFill setting of the browser.  You need to turn that off in the browser settings to disable this.

Thanks Pstork1! I have briefly tested this on Firefox and it seems to stop the noise. I'm not sure how to fix this for the desktop app though, I cannot find settings/controls for auto complete. Any help on that would be appreciated.

I would assume the desktop would be picking up either whatever your default browser is set for the OS or defaulting to the settings in Edge.
