Hi All,
I have seen a few posts on here about trying to insert a screenshot image in the body of a email via Flow if it is stored in Sharepoint or the web however in our case it is slightly different and proving quite tricky.
When a email arrives in one of our users inbox it gets the email and then delays the email until the next morning but when it then resend the email the next morning if the original email included screenshots in the email they are no longer embedded/shown in the actual body which doesn't help the formatting of the body and also on mobile devices.
I was wondering if this is possible at all to actually fix and is supported by Flow in any way?
Thanks
Hi @Hammy2012
I am running out of options here. I have tested only in my windows desktop using outlook and Office365 Outlook connectors. It did worked as expected. Not sure about other devices which I couldn't test more on this. Hopefully you could raise this with Microsoft support and get some help. I still believe this can't be a flow issue. May be I am wrong and keep us posted here.
Thanks a lot
Hi @abm ,
I have checked all these and still doing the same thing. I have seen a lot of posts about this on images in body - just wanted to see if there are any advancements.
It doesn't work on multiple devices on Outlook Web Mail, Outlook (Windows or Mac) and even the Outlook Mobile App on iOS.
Thanks
Hi @Hammy2012
Please have a look at this. Looks like your IE proxy settings needs some changes.
Thanks
Hi @abm ,
The last photo was from Outlook Web Client, the below photo is from Outlook 365 Edition and I have applied the settings you mentioned above. The error on Outlook looks like the below:

Hi @Hammy2012
Looks like this is not the flow issue. It may be the outlook client settings.
Check the below Outlook 2013
Unblock picture downloads for all messages
It’s possible to enable Outlook 2013 to automatically load all images for all of your incoming emails. To do so, please follow these instructions:
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks
hi @abm
I am also using the same Outlook 365 connector as you and the below screenshots show the flow and the outcome - if I select 'Yes' to 'Include Attachments' it produces the bottom screenshot and if I select that to 'No' the email it sends is just blank white space.
Thanks
Hi @Hammy2012
Thanks for your reply.
I did tried sending an email using from one address to another address.
It's all worked as expected. What's your trigger email address comes from (which type of connector?)?
Thanks
Hi @abm
See below for what the body format looks like:
"<p><html><head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"><meta content="text/html; charset=us-ascii"><meta name="Generator" content="Microsoft Word 15 (filtered medium)"><style>
<!--
@font-face
{font-family:"Cambria Math"}
@font-face
{font-family:Calibri}
p.MsoNormal, li.MsoNormal, div.MsoNormal
{margin:0cm;
margin-bottom:.0001pt;
font-size:11.0pt;
font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif}
a:link, span.MsoHyperlink
{color:#0563C1;
text-decoration:underline}
a:visited, span.MsoHyperlinkFollowed
{color:#954F72;
text-decoration:underline}
span.EmailStyle17
{font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;
color:windowtext}
.MsoChpDefault
{font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif}
@page WordSection1
{margin:72.0pt 72.0pt 72.0pt 72.0pt}
div.WordSection1
{}
-->
</style></head><body lang="EN-GB" link="#0563C1" vlink="#954F72"><div class="WordSection1"><p class="MsoNormal"><img width="386" height="448" id="Picture_x0020_1" src="cid:image001.png@01D63E98.EDFB9F90" style="width:4.0208in; height:4.6666in"></p></div></body></html></p>"
From what I can see it detects the image at the bottom of the html.
Thanks
Hi @Hammy2012
Could you please check the run history of your flow and see the body format of the email what's been returned? Post a screen shot or as a text which will be helpful.
Thanks
Hi @abm
The below is correct until point 3 where we still want the images/screenshots to appear in the body however it currently doesn't at all and just leaves a white space where the image in the body would be.
The above screenshot shows the end of the flow which occurs after the delay which sends the exact same email however images in the body do not work/appear. I have also tried to click the 'html' button on that screenshot but it still does not work.
