Send automatic emails with information from spreadsheet

Hi,

I'm looking for Power Automate to;

- Automatically send an email similar to the below at a pre set frequency, using data from a spreadsheet.

Hi,

Please can I check to see if there has been any further update regarding [name].

The latest information logged is [insert latest update from spreadsheet]

Thanks,

I would need for Power Automate to send it at a pre-set frequency automatically, if the status on that show is showing as open.

If it's showing as closed, the email will not need to be sent.

I don't need the whole sheet to be sent, just the key information required as mentioned above.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi @jamescrossley ,

Here's a sample flow to make it your own.  In this example, I am sending email for each row, works in testing.

In my example, I need this to go out every Friday at 8 AM.

Next I will List rows present in a table and filter by Status eq 'Open'.  Please make sure your data is in a table.

Next, for each row that is OPEN status, I will send a email to the contact email on that row.  I put the name of the person in the subject too incase the contact receives more than one email so the know quickly who the email is referencing.

If you are not familar with the Apply to Each actions, you don't have to create it, it will be created automatically for you when you add the action Send an email (V2) and add the dynamic content in the To: field.  That's because Power Automate knows since you are using the dynamic content from List rows present in a table, there may be more than one row to send an email for.

Then I add additional email dynamic content about that particular row.

Here is the email result about Joe.

Are you planning to do this via cloud flows or desktop flows? @trice602 's solution would do the trick if you are doing it in cloud flows. But you posted the question in the forums for desktop flows, so I feel like I have to check up on that.
