Multiple choice questions causing too many nested 'For Each' functions

Hello!

I'm trying to create an automated flow where results from a Forms survey are recorded in a SharePoint List. I made the basic flow and followed this vid to create Select functions for my 11 MC questions. However, when I enter the Output dynamic content into the appropriate Create Item fields, For each functions are automatically added to my flow. Eventually, there are too many of these For each functions for the flow to work.

Any help would be appreciated.

Can you show exactly what you are adding to your Create item action? You shouldn't get any Apply to each appearing. As per the video you used for reference, you would need to switch the Create item inputs to Array mode then add the Select for each one.

EDIT: I think the actual issue you are facing is the way your When a new response is submitted trigger is setup. Can you click on the three dots ... then Settings, and ensure that Split On is turned on and you have selected the Array from the drop down. At the moment I think it's got Split On turned off which means it expects multiple form responses and the reason you are getting all the Apply to each showing.

Once you've done this you'll notice that when you add Get response details it doesn't add an Apply to each.

That did it! I forgot to switch to Array mode before adding the Selects.
