Team flows not working

Hi all,

I am fairly new to PowerApps and Flow. I have created an app for our company that will send an email to the same user that uses the app. (I have created both using my account)

Then, this email will trigger one of the two team flows. The problem is that when I use it, the flow will trigger, but when another user (I added him as an owner too) use the PowerApps to get the email, the flow won't trigger...

Sorry if there is any confusion...but is there any way I could solve this?

My guess is that whenever an email arrives to my account, the flow will trigger. But how do I change it so whoever gets the email, his/her flow will trigger?

Best,

Hi there!  So, let me say back what I think is happening:

You (User A) created a PowerApp which sends an email to the person using the App.  You also created and shared a Flow that is triggered when an email shows in your inbox, right?

When someone else (User B) uses the app, the email goes to them, but the Flow isn't triggered, is that correct?  If the email isn't being sent, what event in PowerApps is triggering the email to be sent?  Posting shots of the Flows and maybe the PA stuff will be helpful.

When you share a Flow to create a Team Flow, I think you are sharing your connection.  So the trigger won't automatically look in User B's inbox, it's still looking in yours.

Keep us posted, and we'll work through this.

    Hi @edgonzales

    Thank you for your reply!

Yes! It is just what you are thinking. PA is just sending an email to whoever is using it so that flow can be triggered.

This is how it triggers the flow...

I have found a workaround (User B saving the team Flow as one of their personal), but since we have a lot of people, we would like to make this Team Flow working...

Are there any possible ways to make it work?

    Best,

    Henry

Could you have the PA send an email to the user and CC: a service account and the Flow is triggered from that inbox?

    Just a thought.

    Oh I see,

I have thought about that...If that is the only solution we would have to go with that

    Thank you @edgonzales !
