How to turn a Smartsheet "Get a sheet" into dynamic content

Friends,

There is a new action out there that pulls the data in from a smartsheet.  This is a GREAT action, but it is entirely unclear how to turn this into something I can work with.  I need the data into dynamic content.  I know Parse JSON is the way to do it, but its very complex, and unclear.  Maybe someone from the mothership can elaborate on how to do this.

I have been trying to "hack" this using a get html action.  This was ALMOST working, but now that there is an action, perhaps there is a much easier way?

My other discussion:

    Hi @martinav ,

    I think using Parse JSON is the most effective way because you are using HTTP action to get the response instead of the standard action provided in other connectors, so there will not be any dynamic content to reference.

    We can only use Parse JSON action to parse the response first and then reference the relevant attribute value.

    In addition, if you want to determine whether an array is empty and then decide whether to continue the following actions, you can refer to the following method:

    165.PNG

    Expression reference:

    length(body('Parse_JSON')?['body']?['rows'])

    Hope this helps.

    Best Regards,

    @v-bacao-msft ,

    Thank you for your reply.

    My intention of this post was to break away from the discussion using the HTML action.  There have been some additions to the Smartsheet actions, and I want to know specifically how we can get usable dynamic content from the Get a Sheet action.  The structure of the data in the output is nested, and very complex.  I have been unable to find a successful way to do this that allows use of the raw data from the action (or the HTML method in my other post).  I was hoping someone smarter than me could help me with the specifics of how to use the data from this Smartsheet action.  I have used parse JSON in many occasions and it works very well.  There is some much more complex things going on here that a general use of Parse JSON is not workable.

    My other post shows the data output we are working with.  Your method to sort out the empty row issue may be affective, but there is a deeper issue with the parse json itself, and the scheme that would be effective to generate the intended dynamic content.
