Clarification Need in Approval Flow

Hi Team,

 

I'm using start and wait action for approvals and Assigned to field which i entered the required email id to get approval and requestor we are able to enter only 1 email id and it doesn't allows multiple Email ID. 

 

1) When i'm sending the request for approval everyone receive the notification but requestor doesn't get any email

2) Once the approver approves the request also requestor doesn't get the notification like which person is approved the request.

 

Is it possible that requestor can receive the notification when sending the approval notification and receiving the approvals?

    Hi @Priyanka03 

     

    As far as my understanding, this functionality is not supported in approval action, but you need to add separate actions for both the scenarios. The action used for sending email notification is "Send an email" action, so you need to add actions for:

     

    1. Send notification to requester before starting approval process in the flow.

    2. Send notification to requester after approval action with the actual outcome (Approved or declined).

    Hi Manish,

     

    Thank you for response.

    For example i'm sending the approval for 2 person in the same team to review the document and approve and if 1 person is respond 1st then the flow will proceed with next steps but the flow is looking for other person to be respond it. if the other person respond as rejected then the final outcome is rejected we are not able to capture the approve person.
