OneNote "new page created in a section" not working

I try to use Excel to record the title and time stamp when a new page is created in a section in Onenote. However, I tried Onenote2016, Onenote for iOS and Onenote Online, but none of them trigger the action properly.

There is a another post related to this problem posted at [1]. But it is marked as solved whose solution does not work for me. The solution in [1] is to make sure the notebook key and section id in the desktop app matches the online version. In my case, both the notebook key and section id is selected via a drop-down list which shows all my sections in my synced notebook. So they should match.

I delete my section and create a new one. Now the flow seems working.
